Midir had picked out which empty bedroom they were to occupy, and, much to his dismay, Keelia had insisted on tagging along. Something about Christmas wishes, and that rather naughty glint in her eye was more disturbing than a lot of things.

He knew she'd slept with Sam before, and fine, they were involved in a three-way relationship as well, so it wasn't like he'd never seen her with another man, but he and Michael were careful with her. They didn't want to hurt her. They kept the rougher games to themselves and so why exactly was she coming along with him and Sam?

Sam was upset by the story. Anyone could see that and what he needed was liable to turn dark and Midir didn't want her seeing that side of them. She shouldn't have to deal with that sort of behavior.

But Keelia was stubborn and gave him a look, and tried to explain that she'd seen it before. That she knew. That the first time she and Sam had been together had not been gentle, but there was only so much she could tell him before he looked like he didn't believe her and maybe, just maybe that was the Christmas wish. To break the pedestal he had her on and finally be free of it so he'd actually see her.

Or maybe it was just because the mere idea of Sam and Midir was hot and she wanted to see.

Midir looked rather suspiciously at her about that, but she just beamed and settled on the bed to wait for Sam.

Midir chuckled, and Keelia smiled. She shifted a bit away to tug him toward the bed with Midir on the other side.

"Who said you had to do the seducing?"

He chuckled, a soft but genuine sound as he started to relax.

"I suppose that's true."

Keelia tugged him onto the bed, making him stretch out while Midir settled on the other side.

"You're not the only one capable of it," she said with a little laugh.

Midir grinned and leaned in to nip lightly at his ear, as if to prove a point.

Some days it was just too easy. Not that he was complaining, mind, just the opposite. The sensation of teeth on skin went straight down his spine and made him shiver and sigh, a wholly different sound from before.

"Mm-hmm..." he chuckled, opening his eyes again. "And don't think I'm not grateful."

Keelia leaned in to work on his other ear, tongue tracing, then teeth while her fingers slid down his chest lightly. It was a bit odd to do this when he'd been off limits for so long, and with Midir here, but it was familiar enough that she shook off the awkwardness with a warm chuckle.

"Mm..." Another little sigh, turning to nuzzle softly at her temple, one hand sliding over to Midir's thigh.

Midir slid his fingers over Keelia's to unbutton Sam's shirt, fingers tracing the exposed skin as he worked his way down. His lips followed, teasing lightly, willing to get darker if that seemed needed, but right now the softer warmth was wrapping around the room and seemed more appropriate.

One arm slipped around Keelia's waist, pulling her close for a kiss even as his fingertips brushed, a little awkwardly, more towards the inside of Midir's thigh. Just for a moment, and perhaps as much to remind himself of why they were there as anything else.

And the softness was welcome at the moment, very welcome. The soft warmth and quiet casual friendship of it.

Keelia smiled against his lips, then returned the kiss with her fingers stroking gently through his hair. Midir blinked, then smiled, fingers brushing over Sam's as he kissed his neck just as gently.

Sam laced his fingers through Midir's, squeezing his hand gently as a surge of gratitude slipped through. Mouthing the words 'thank you' against Keelia's mouth as he kissed her.

There was no need to thank either of them, and Keelia nipped his accessible lip in playful reproof. They were here. They should make that clear more often.

He chuckled, teasing the tip of his tongue over her lip, making a pleased little playful growl at the nipping. His fingertips brushed over the back of Midir's hand, snuggling into them.

Keelia laughed softly at the growl, remembering when it had been less playful, and the memory made her deepen the kiss with a fierce breathlessness.

Midir played over Sam's chest, lips trailing up the back of his neck, tongue and teeth working together.

Her sudden ferocity made him gasp, fingers sliding to curl and tighten in Midir's hair. One leg slid around hers, pulling her closer. This, here, right now, and he wanted to be touched. So achingly bad, and all over.

Midir growled a bit in response to the tight fingers, nipping sharply at Sam's neck, while Keelia shivered and pressed herself closer to him, her hands sliding over his chest, pushing his shirt off.

Something severed at the bite, some restraint or, well, something. He wriggled out of his shirt and his skin was already heated and slightly damp underneath, pulling Keelia close, almost brutally so, and kissing her fiercely.

The pressure, and the edge of pain made prickles along his skin. Made him growl a little as he kissed her, writhing between them. His fingers curled around her arm, claiming her, at least for the moment. Midir was likely next, as soon as he came within more comfortable reach.

Midir pulled back to watch them as his fingers lazily drifted around Sam's waistband, then down over him, light and teasing, then with more pressure.
